All Mankind

Origine : Sydney, Australie
Style : Pop, Rock
Netlabel : Jamendo
Another hushhush ATTACK! deliverable got my attention this past week. The band All Mankind, out of Sydney Australia, has been compared to Coldplay by a few editorial reviews. Though, I do see why journalists and social network communities like to alarm the ‘sounds like’ bell, hoping for fans to latch on to the viewed subject, the band members of All Mankind have their own heart and soul with a handful of must hear music running through their veins. Particularly with their current single titled “Can You Hear Me”, which instantly took me on a cathedral moment with its what sounded like an organ intro from overdubs of guitar swells, effects and electronic bow, turned into a beautiful (yes, beautiful) lyrical piece of work. Lead singer Rich Beeston takes you on a spirit-filled rollercoaster ride, lyrically balanced with ying & yang, perfect for pop-cultures constant seeking of revolution, revival and remorse. Yeah, I can hear ya Rich.
